- When do you feel the most creative?
When I’m planning a shoot for a client. The ideas just start to flow and it’ll send me into a creativity tsunami lol. I love the pressure of coming up with a concept from scratch and having full control of the execution.
- Favorite item in your closet right now and why?
I’m honestly obsessed with all my purses. I used to dream about having designer bags when I was younger, and now that I have them I really treasure them. I could never pick a favorite though! Okay, maybe my orange see- through Fendi because I never get to wear her.
- Who do you turn to for style advice and why?
I try not to follow current trends too much because I find that things go out of style quickly and then you’re stuck with all these played out items. I have a Vogue subscription, so I usually flip through them each month to see the way big brands are styling their campaigns. Then I always keep those findings in mind for my own style and for photoshoot styling. I almost prefer men’s clothes if I’m being honest. I usually look to menswear for inspo - pants, jackets etc.
- 3 brands you know you can rely on?
For dresses my go-to is Rat and Boa. Cliche maybe, but their prints and fits just work so well on me. I’d say for essentials and easy/affordable finds, Zara. Can't go wrong with $50 jeans that fit like a dream. Then for more mid- to high-end pieces I usually peruse H. Lorenzo’s selection.
- Favorite movie and why?
Thelma and Louise! I have quite a few but I’m going to say Thelma and Louise today. The cinematography is so beautiful! I just love a story about women taking power back and adventuring. You can’t help but fall in love with the characters and their relationships. Also we loveee a young, steamy Brad Pitt ;)
